  Warriors, come out to playeeyay

  “Waaaaaariorrrrrrrrs—- come out to playeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyYAY!” was heard frequently on a commercial for The Warriors video game released in 2005. The Warriors is a cult classic movie from 1979 about rival gangs in New York. The Warriors are one of those gangs. Why they released a video game of it in 2005 years later remains a mystery.

  Barack you like a hurricane

  There’s pretty hot songspeak action going on in the comments section of the Link Farm post about Barack Obama.

  

  Besides numerous references to Def Leppard, there’s some pretty nice references to LL Cool J, Mr. Mister, B52s, Kiss, Queen, The Scorpions, and of course, The Rock. I think my favorite is “Obama Said Knock You Out”, a reference of course to Mama Said Knock You Out by LL Cool J.
