Last night was Conan O’Brien’s first night hosting The Tonight Show. Conan’s cold open was a segment that showed him making a checklist and forgetting to check off ‘Move to L.A.’
And then, a la Forest Gump, he just runs… from NYC to Los Angeles, running across bridges, busy roads, Wrigley Field, swimming, and even stopping at an antique doll museum…. all the while Surrender by Cheap Trick is playing in the background. (Mommy’s alright, Daddy’s alright, they just seem a little weird. Surrender, surrender, but don’t give yourself away)
