For those about to rock, there’s a new iPod Nano

    posted by songspeak | 09.11.08 | permalink | comment?

    .

The new iPod Nano looks pretty cool. All-aluminum and glass curvy shell. A bunch of colors. Some fun features like shaking it up when you want to shuffle to the next song (which by the way, we can’t wait to see throngs of people semi-violently shaking their right hands up and down in public).

Between being able to watch movies, play games, and of course, listen to music and podcasts, the iPod is just awesome, and it keeps getting awesomer.

We also think it’s also pretty cool that Apple has a little bit of songspeak action on their website. Giving shout-outs to AC/DC (For Those About To Rock (We Salute You) and Peaches & Herb (Shake Your Groove Thing) are surefire ways to sell iPod nanos to the masses, we think.

I’m too sexy to not mention Autoblog’s songspeak

    posted by matt | 07.08.08 | permalink | comment?

I came across this on Autoblog today, in regards to a story about Volvo Trucks. Even car geeks songspeak I suppose.

    autoblogcatwalk

The (down the catwalk, yeah) is a reference to the 1991hit I’m Too Sexy by Right Said Fred, of course. Ever since this song came out, countless people have made references to it. Pretty  much anything after “I’m too sexy…”. I’m too sexy for my shirt, I’m too sexy for my job, I’m too sexy for this hamburger… you get the point.

Oh, also, just to clarify, I’m too sexy for this post.
