George Michael rear-ended a Volvo semi-truck in the U.K. but was able to escape unharmed. Witnesses say he was traveling over 100 mph when the accident happened late Friday evening. Luckily he was not carrying any passengers, and seems to be okay. Police screened him for drugs, but released him without any charges.

When I was in high school, cruising around in my Buick Skylark blaring my cassette of The Real Thing at full volume through my aftermarket Sanyo stereo, I don’t think my teenage self would have thought that my thirties self would ever be at the point where they’d be watching and listening to a live performance of Faith No More from his cubicle over this thing we call the internet. I don’t think any of us had any idea in 1993 that the internet would happen.
I can say this though. This reunion situation that is happening with Faith No More is fucking awesome! They’re on tour all summer but no dates are scheduled in the U.S. as of yet. Here are live videos from their June 12th performance at London’s Download Festival 2009.
It starts with a sometimes terrible but sometimes hilarious cover of Reunited (And It Feels So Good) by Peaches & Herb.

After announcing that he would NOT be recording or touring as part of the Jackson 5 back in October of last year, and fending off rumors of ill health, Michael Jackson made a “special announcement” today at London’s The O2 Arena… a comeback tour of sorts.
He’s scheduled 10 shows in July of 2009 at the huge venue, his first scheduled performance since a number of years ago, when his career spiraled down a hole of child molestation charges, bankruptcy, and lawsuits.
Will he actually perform? It remains to be seen. The King Of Pop, with a surprisingly deep voice, announced “This is it. This is the final curtain call” while saying that these will be his last performances EVER in London.

John Lyndon, now 52, was once singer for the Sex Pistols, an iconic punk band who rose to fame in the late 1970s, especially for their single God Save The Queen.
Now, he’s selling Dairy Crest’s Country Life Butter in television commercials airing in the U.K. starting today. It’s not about Great Britain, it’s about great butter. Is there no future for you, Johnny Rotten?
From MediaGuardian.co.uk
“People know I only do things that I want to or that I believe in and I have to do it my way,” said Lydon on deciding to appear in the TV ad.
“I’ve never done anything like this before and never thought I would, but this Country Life ad was made for me and I couldn’t resist the opportunity.”
